Baby black baby: Mother of black baby charged with murder

BYLINE: July 25, 2017 03:26:56A baby black baby is being held at a Richmond hospital after his mother was arrested on Tuesday, accused of murdering him and burying him.

According to court documents, Elizabeth Ann Moore was charged with one count of first-degree murder, a felony, after her son, Christopher, was found dead in a shallow grave near a house in Richmond, Virginia, in July.

The baby’s mother, Kimberly Moore, was arrested and released on $2 million bail.

The boy’s body was discovered in the early morning hours of July 10, a day after he was reported missing.

He was buried in a grave under a tree and was covered in blood.

Moore and her boyfriend, Marcus McRae, were charged with first- and second-degree first-person homicide.

The charges stem from a search of the house in which the baby was found.

Investigators said they were investigating whether there was any connection between the deaths.

Moore told police that she had a sexual relationship with Christopher before he was killed, according to court papers.

She said she took him to the woods on July 7 and left him there.

The couple allegedly called police the next day to say Christopher had been taken to the hospital and was “dying,” court papers said.

Moore has a history of mental illness and has previously been arrested for drug charges.
