The woman, who is now recovering at home, told Four Four Two she was in a taxi, waiting for a taxi to take her to hospital, when the car stopped and then stopped again.

She said she had been driving for three years and had never experienced such a thing.

“I’m in a bit of a state,” she said.

“It’s really scary.

I didn’t realise how close it was to my car.”

The driver stopped for no reason, she said, and she and the taxi driver were not injured.

“She did not say why she stopped,” she told Four Three.

“I’m not sure why she did that.”

The woman told the ABC she did not want to comment on the incident, but said she was thankful no one was injured.
